The Vulture
the Vulture is unpleasant universe of Marvel Comics. It was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in Amazing Spider Man #2 (May 1963)
Fictitious biography
Adrian Toomes was an electronics engineer. He finds himself ruined when its associate without scruple takes the control of their company and the évince. To be avenged, Toomes uses one of its last inventions, an electromagnetic harness flying.Thanks to its flying harness, Toomes is introduced into its old office and steals all the money and the material which are there. Galvanized by its great capacities, it understands that it can make to fortune while becoming criminal professional.
Unfortunately for Toomes, Spider-Man puts abruptly fine at its first crusade. Furious following this incident, the Vulture swears to be avenged for the weaver. However, its age catches up with it regularly. It misses dying in prison and passes the torch to Draco, another prisoner. Draco is however overcome at the time of a combat the opponent Kraven and Spiderman. Toomes takes again the costume of the vulture but ends up failing in old people's home. Ironically, it is then Nathan Lubeski, new love of May Parker, which returns taste to the life to a desperate Vulture. Little time after however, the Vulture is encircled by the police force and must take an hostage. He makes use of Nathan like shield without realizing of the identity of this last, and Nathan dies of an heart attack in the arms of May.
The Vulture, learning that it is reached of an incurable cancer, decides to refund the old debts: it one by one eliminates the people who betrayed it then goes to May Parker in order to explain her responsibility in death for Nathan and to excuse itself near it. May Parker rejects it, and a combat against Spiderman brings back Toomes in prison. Toomes escapes again, after reading of an article on Rejuvenator, apparatus making it possible to return youth and health to him. It seizes some and makes use on Peter Parker, and regains its youth temporarily of it. This new Vulture then becomes a vampire aspiring the vital force of its victims. Toomes joins to the Chameleon at this time when this one tries to learn the identity from Spiderman thanks to androïdes with the image of the parents of Peter Parker. At the end of this saga, Toomes aspires the life of false Mrs. Parker and renovates in a permanent way. The young Vulture disappears however when Toomes is returned at its true age by DK, human guinea-pig nourishing itself, him also, of the gasoline of its victims.
Toomes recently reappeared in the series Marvel Knights: Spiderman like fellow-member of Electro and tried to double the Owl. This one was avenged by disfiguring the Vulture, bursting one of its eyes.
