The Vault-Craonnaise
the Vault-Craonnaise is a common French, located in the department of the Mayenne and the area Pays of the Loire.
The inhabitants are called Capellos-Craonnais.
Geography
History
At the 12th century, Isambart Seigneur of the Vault takes the name of this place. His/her Affricain son of the Vault, his small German son and his back small son is also lords.
Then at the 13th century, Jeanne de Quatrebarbes carries in marriage to Louis of the Turn-Landry this Seigneurie, plain with the Sorchin Mound. In, Charles of Corbière is the owner. One of its descendants assists at the assembly of the nobility in Angers in 1789. November 15th 1791, Capello-Craonnais petition to preserve their priests: " Fear alone to lose them disturbs us and us déchrire, and we would look like most unhappy of our jousrs that where they would be forced to separate from nous." Michel Lecomte, chief Royalist of Craonnais, is native of this Paroisse. He is shot in Craon in January 1796.
The arrival of the Railroad in 1888 contributes to the development of the commune.
