The Tutor of the hero
the Tutor of the hero is the first volume of the Manga Fly.
Fifteen years ago, a large hero overcame Hadora, the King of the Evil, which terrorized the world. The monsters of this one, released from its evil spells, left to live on the small island of Demurin.
Fly, human little boy, there was collected and raised by Burasu, which he regards as his grandfather. He dreams to become a hero, while Burasu wants to make of him a magician, although he is not endowed with the whole in magic.
He has as a friend Gome, slime gilded, single in his kind.
One day arrive on the island of false hero, Derorin, Zurubon, Herohero and Mazofuho, which comes to capture this legendary “golden delicious metal slime”. Fly, allured by their appearance, is let take with their imposture, and they succeed in capturing Gome. Fly launches out then to their continuation, going until the kingdom of Romusu. After a fierce combat, he manages to release his friend and to overcome the false hero. King de Romusu, recognizing the courage of Fly, offers a crown in orihakuron, symbol of the heroes to him.
A few weeks later the princess Léona, from the kingdom of Papunika, comes on the island to be baptized there. It is there indeed a cave legendary, but nobody any more comes there because of the monsters. King de Romusu however indicated to the royal family of Papunika that the monsters obey Fly, and will thus not be dangerous. But of the subjects of the princess try to kill her. Fly, which does not want to let die Léona, awakes in him a mysterious force: a symbol appears on its face, and it becomes able to use the magic, including the incantation raiden that only a hero can use. He thus manages to counter the disastrous intentions, and the baptism finishes well.
A little later, the monsters of the island become sudden violent one, aggressive, except for Gome. Burasu sees there the sign of the resurrection of Hadora. He wants to make leave the island with Fly because it fears to kill it out of its own hands, when occur Aban and Poppu. Aban uses an incantation which against the forces of the Evil to protect the island, and announces that it was sent by the family of Léona to make of Fly a hero and to enable him to overcome Hadora, indeed ressuscity. Poppu is one of its disciples, in training of magician. Fly agrees to follow the special training of Aban Master, one one week duration.
But this drive is stopped by the arrival of Hadora in person.
