the Trockadero Ballets of Monte Carlo is a company of Ballet created with New York in 1974 by a group of ballet dancers American eager to present the academic repertory to the second degree, in a ludic and humorous way.
The company, whose name is a wink with the Ballets of Monte Carlo, is only made up of men who interpret all the great feminine roles of the romantic Ballet. Pastichant the great solos of the Plisetskaya, Pavlova, Margot Fonteyn or Alicia Alonso, the dancers incarnate the Diva S of the slipper in the death of the swan , Gisele , Casse-Noisette , the step of two of Don Quichotte or that of Sleeping Beauty .
The “ Trocks ” (as they affectionately are called) combine an irreproachable knowledge and a technique of the dance to an irresistible humor, showing that men can also dance on Pointes.
The company travels in the whole world and gave representations in more than 400 cities, of which a hundred in Europe. It is also re-elected for its standpoint in favor of the fight against the AIDS.
