The Treniers
The Treniers is a group of Rhythm and blues and American Rock “roll of the Années 1940 and 1950. Composed of the twin brothers Claude and Clifford (born the July 14th 1919) and of their junior Milt Trenier .
Born with Mobile (Alabama), the twins come from a family of musicians. Their Deny father plays of the horn baritone in a brass band and their mother plays of the piano. Their Buddy older brother sings in the close clubs. They leave to Montgomery to study at the university of State. They prefer to play of the music and are returned in 1941. Claude is engaged as singer in the orchestra of Jimmie Lunceford in 1944, and serious its first disc with New York. Cliff is engaged in its turn. They record Buzz, Buzz, Buzz in February 1945. The disc will leave only in 1949. In 1946, Claude sings on Weird Nightmare of Charlie Mingus. He occurs in the boxes of Los Angeles, only or with Joe Liggins & his Honeydrippers.
In 1947, it is joined by Clifford and Don Hill and Gene Gilbeaux, met at the university of Montgomery. They form the group The Treniers Twins and sign at Mercury Records where they leave five discs until 1950. Then they leave to Okeh. Their Milt younger brother having joined them, they rename The Treniers. In 1951, they leave Go! Go! Go! , a true piece of Rock'n'roll “roll, followed Hadacol That' S All , Rockin' One Saturday Night , Rockin' Is Our Business , Poon-Tang and quantity of others until 1955. The firm having put the key under the door, they arrive to Epic Records where they record four new 45 turns and an album: The Treniers One T.V.
The continuation of their career is shared between many recording companies. It leave a second album at Dot in 1958 ( The Treniers Souvenir Album ) and turn in Great Britain in first part of Jerry Lee Lewis. They appear in several films, which the Blonde and I , then leave their last disc in 1964 at Ronn. Before a whole group of scene, their recordings pain to return the madness which is theirs and their discs are not sold very well.
They continue to foam the clubs in all the country and create in the Années 1970 their own label, Mobile, where they leave two new albums as a public. Milt left them to assemble a club to Chicago, their brother Buddy and their Skip nephew joined them. In 1981, they occur 365 evenings of sharp. They still continue to sing until the end of the Années 1990.
