the Trade wind is a song of Alizée, written by Mylène Farmer and composed by Laurent Boutonnat, left in 2000. It is the second individual one of the singer extracts from her album Gourmandises. It is also its first number 1 in France where it was sold with more than 700.000 specimens. The title also was a pretty success abroad (n°5 in Belgium, n°43 in Germany, n°52 in Austria…).
