Synopsis

According to the true story of LISA Alling, of Russian origin and chambermaid to New York in 1927, which, taken the nostalgic one, wanted to join its Siberia ancestrale.
Poor and inexperienced, it decides to achieve, with foot, the way between New York and the Bering Strait. Its savage will and its unconsciousness will rejoin with its cause and the liking of its advance, the various people met on her road since the the United States until the Canada. It will receive in particular the generous assistance of Muriel, managing of a drugstore, and will listen to its judicious council: to follow, in the middle of snows, the line of the Telegraph. It will owe its survival to the employees of the telegraph who, initially incrédules, will help it whereas it was in annoying posture in a frozen river then will help it to finish its foolish voyage.
