History of the novel

Stephen King began at 22 years the writing from the first volume, Pistolero , in the years 1970 whereas it was yet only student. It published then this first volume in the form of five news in 1982. The Dark Tower counts today seven volumes whose writing was distributed over thirty-three years. The last volume, published in 2005, closes the saga.

For its 19 years, King had had as an ambition to write an epopee as Tolkien had done it with its Seigneur of the rings . Adaptation as a cartoon

Film adaptation

About 2010, a passage to the screen could be carried out (telefilms, series or cinema?). The writer seems to have granted the televisual rights to the creators of the series Lost of which he admires work.
