the Tour de France by two children is a Feuilleton televised French in 39 26 minutes episodes, in black and white, carried out by William Magnin on a very free adaptation by Claude Santelli and Michele Angot of the delivers school reading éponyme of G. Bruno (pseudonym of Mrs. Alfred Fouillé). This serial was diffused starting from the November 3rd 1957 on the first chain of ORTF.
Synopsis
Two children, Andre, the elder one, and Julien, the little brother, are originating in Phalsbourg in Alsace. France has just lost the war of 1870 against Prussia. Alsace and Lorraine are annexed to the very new German empire. In order to be able to remain French, they will cross France in the hope to find their uncle. Through them, the televiewer will discover the French provinces. This serial was more particularly intended for the young public.
