Synopsis

In this future distance, humanity succeeded in colonizing a hundred the planets, most remote requiring a voyage in Hibernation of almost four hundred years. However, except for the first of them, the planet of Barnard near to star of the same name, none is really autonomous. Without the support of the Earth and the invaluable manufactured goods that this one sends to them regularly, all these colonies would turn over quickly to the sauvagerie.
For some time, the leading authority of the solar system, the Carriers of quality, was alerted surprising technological advancements on distant colonies. Ab Skhy is sent to inquire into these facts into the planet Sanfran , located at a distance of fifty years of voyage. He discovers quickly that a group called the Charlatans would be responsible for this progress. Arrived of one does not know where a hundred years ago, these Charlatans could be well of extraterrestrial origin.
