The Supper (film, 1992)

the Supper is a French film carried out by Edouard Molinaro and left the December 23rd 1992.

Synopsis

Paris, July 6th 1815. Whereas the people put dark questions about his future after the demolished of Waterloo, two men soupent behind closed doors, Talleyrand and Fouché. They will be devoted to a verbal duel whose stake is the future of their country.

  • the scene of film must be held in the private mansion of Talleyrand, the Hôtel of Saint-Florentin cheese, but this hotel is the current seat of the embassy of the United States which refused turning. The film was thus made in the Hôtel of Monaco which is the seat of the Ambassade of Poland located at number 1 of the street Talleyrand in the 7th district of Paris.
  • a Anachronisme appears in film: the title of duchess of Dino was granted to the princess of Courlande and her husband only the December 2nd 1817 whereas the scene is held in the night of the 6 to the July 7th 1815.
