The Street Kétanou

the Street Kétanou is a group of music of street, mixing music gypsy, Théâtre, Poésie and Humor.

Composition

History

It is composed of Mourad Musset, Olivier Leite, and Florent Vintrigner, all three resulting from the Théâtre of the Wire to Paris. They begin in the streets from La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré. It was a spectacle of street, mixing song and theater, with a currency “ It is not we who are with the street, it is the Street Kétanou! ”.

After having foamed the streets, the squats then the bars and the small rooms, they meet Arnaud Viala and Bibou, members of Tryo, who propose to them to produce the recording of a disc, but also to ensure the first part of Tryo the Olympia and during their round.

The first album, While waiting for the caravans , leaves in January 2001. Then follow in the concerts and festivals, as well as a second album Y' has cicadas in the anthill in 2002. In 2004, the Street Kétanou leaves an album in public, Ouvert with double turn . After this exit and the rumor of a possible separation, the group of street decides to make a pause; Florent the Accordéoniste assembles his own project - the group worries You Lazare - accompanied by a Guitariste and a Contrebassiste, while Mourad Musset and Olivier Leite set up a collective of musicians between friends: My punk side .

They take part in the first album left in September 2006 a newcomer on the French scene, Syrano, where they interpret with him the song Planter stones , bringing with them them universe to Tziganes sonorities.

After an absence in concerts of almost two years, the trio set out again for a round of about fifteen dates, during the summer 2007. These concerts are rich in new songs, and at the time of their services, the musicians repeat regularly that they test these innovations with the idea to leave a new album…
