The Stranglers

The Stranglers is a British rock group new wave formed in 1973, which will be associated with the movement Punk then New Wave. Biography

It is a fan of Stranglers for a long time. It is also the youngest member of the group. At that time, we can specify the arrival of John Ellis with the guitar, which took part already in the round of the album " Ten" as a fifth member of the group.

The tubes are done more timid in the years 1990 for Stranglers. Moreover, with regard to France, the group is been sulky by the media because of the famous business in the concert of Nice into 1980 which always left a bitter taste to the national journalists.

In 2004, Stranglers deliver to us to them 15th album, heading Norfolk Coast . It is a return to the sources, level music. This album is probably the best since the departure of Hugh Cornwell and its replacement per Paul Roberts. It also marks the return of a round carried out in Europe, of which France. Namely that the guitarist was replaced by Baz Warne. After 15 years within the combo, Paul Roberts will leave in his turn the group in 2006 in good terms, to devote itself to his project named Soulsec. Baz Warne replaces it with the song. In September 2006, the 16th album of Stranglers leaves, CONTINUATION XVI . It marks the return of the Men in black, with a darker music, and the return of the magic keyboards of Dave Greenfield, but especially of low of French of the group, JJ Burnel. An English round follows, sold out. Spring 2007, the Men in Black turn to France (10 dates), but also in Holland, Belgium, Italy.
