the Sport was a daily newspaper then a French sporting weekly magazine created in 1987.
This published sporting daily newspaper with Paris was launched by Xavier Couture, Jerome Bureau, Rene Tezé, and Patrick Blain in order to compete with the newspaper the Team . As of 1988, the Sport ceases its daily publications.
The title is started again in the form of weekly magazine by Entreprendre Robert Lafont in 1989, then resold with the world Editions in March 1990. In May 1993, its new owner again makes it appear in a daily way during one short period. The title dispararaît in 1994 at the time of the repurchase of the world Editions by Emap France.
Not to confuse this title with the Sport, weekly magazine created in 2003.
