The Sound of the Air

the Sound of the Air is a Festival in the open air devoted to the current musics.

Created in 2005, it is held with the Ferté-sous-Jouarre within a pastoral and bucolic framework in edge of Marne the last weekend of May. The programming wants to be at the same time pointed, festive, eclectic and popular.

The Sound of the Air presents a broad panorama of the various currents composing the Current musics (Rock, Hip hop, song, electronic musics, Reggae, Fanfare,…), by proposing artists “the Seine and marnais” promising and of the emergent and experienced national artists.

This young and fresh festival, organized by the association of law 1901 " Kalifuda" collective; , is established in an area (the north of the Seine-et-Marne), extremely deprived in infrastructures and events. Its ambition is there to perennialize the diffusion of current musics and to instigate the artistic practice and meetings.

Thus clash of graffeurs, frescos of children, Land Art, Battle Hip hop, Circus or Théâtre of street find their place within the festival in its multi-field step.
