The Slope

the Slope is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps. Its inhabitants are Costellois.

To the 14th century, the territory which depended on the seigniory of Roanne was yielded to the lord de Beaujeu. This one is set up in commune in 1846. Commercial and industrial city activates agglomeration roannaise.

The slogan chosen by the commune, which is reproduced on some of its booklets, is the life of the good side , word game on side/Coteau, and development of its situation on other bank of the the Loire compared to Roanne.
