The Silencer
the Silencer is a Film French of Claude Pinoteau, left on the screens in 1973.
Synopsis
At the time of a Soviet scientific expedition with London, the British secret services remove one of the members of the delegation and make it pass for death. It is acted in fact of a French scientist, removed by the aupravant KGB 16 years, which they force to denounce the spies taking part in the mission. Refusing initially by fear of the reprisals, it ends up accepting and the British slacken it under a new identity. Immediately the KGB pursues it. It then tries to regain the France and to find a means of escaping hunting for the man.
Comment
Solid example of the cinema of espionage to the Frenchwoman, kind developed in the Years 1950 and which dies out practically at that time. Dabadie and Ventura give to the main character a credible psychological depth, in a setting in scene well rythmée and aired of Pinoteau.
