Description

The Short story writer is a daily newspaper of language French E. Like the other newspapers of the Gesca group, this one is generally closer to the Canadian federalism.

The newspaper is diffused in the area of the Mauricie and in the area of the Center-of-Quebec in the north of the Autoroute 20.

History

  • October 30th 1920: The businessman Joseph-Hermann Fortier founds the Short story writer, a newspaper aiming to the economic expansion of the Mauricie.
  • 1935 : The newspaper is bought by Jacob Nicol.
  • 1951 : The newspaper is acquired by Honore Dansereau.
  • 1968 : The Short story writer is acquired by Paul Desmarais.
  • October 31st 2005: The Short story writer adopts the format tabloïd.
