The series owes its notoriety with the setting in scene, discussed, officers violent ones and corrupted, within a brigade of police force of Los Angeles.
Synopsis
Vic Mackey, police inspector in Farmington, fictional district famed evil of Los Angeles, directs a Brigade of shock, “Strike TEAM” (inspired by a true police commando squad of LAPD). Its methods to fight the crime, not very conventional (Brutality, Corruption, Murder) but very effective, often flirtent with those used by the criminals whom it continues. By its behavior in extreme cases of legality, it is frequently found in difficult situations at the same time with respect to its successive superiors (who suspect it - often rightly - of using the furnished informations by his contacts in the street in his single interest), of the members of the gangs which it fights (or that it helps sometimes), other members of “Strike TEAM” (that it frequently involves in its combine), of his/her other colleagues (who disapprove his methods) and even of his wife (who maintains the increasingly conflict relations with him).If Mackey is the central figure of the series, this one also concentrates on the daily newspaper of the other members of the police station, in particular of its captain, David Aceveda, ambitious politicking whose integrity will be put to the test on several occasions, or of Julian Lowe, honest police young person divided between his Homosexualité badly assumed and its faith in the lesson of the Bible.
