The Sentinel is an American thriller of Clark Johnson left in 2006.

Synopsis

Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) is an American agent of the secret services become a legend by saving the life of the president Ronald Reagan at the time of an attack. It is today responsible for the personal safety of US president Ballentine (David Rasche) as of the first lady Sarah Ballentine (Kim Basinger) with whom it has a connection.

Its adviser Walter (Raynor Scheine) reveals to him that there is a plot to kill the president implying a traitor within the secret services. The chief of the secret services William Montrose (Martin Donovan) and her friend David Breckinridge (Kiefer Sutherland) are in charge of the investigation and make pass all the agents to the lie detector. Because of its adventure with Sarah, it is blamed by the results and shown treason. Driven out by the secret services, he manages to escape and leads his own investigation…
