the Secrecy of planet of the monkeys ( Beneath the Planet off the Apes ) is a American Film inspired by the novel Planet of the monkeys of Pierre Boulle, carried out by Ted Post, left on the screens in 1970.
It is the direct continuation of the Planet of the monkeys left two years earlier.
Synopsis
In 3955, a spaceship left to research forwarding Taylor is crushed in its turn on planet of the monkeys.The single one surviving, Brent, will follow the traces of Taylor to the Closed Area, where he will discover that an underground city shelters human mutants admirers of the nuclear bomb.
Comment
Charlton Heston agreed to play in this film provided that its character dies, thus avoiding to him appearing in the future continuations.In this second episode, the role of Cornélius is included by David Watson, Roddy McDowall being in addition dependant.
Orson Welles was had a presentiment of to interpret Ursus.
