TOPONYMY: The name is of Latin origin and comes from Saccius which means in bag within the meaning of driven back (in the Marne of course).

EXPLANATIONS: The mouths is the traditional color of the Brie to which Saâcy is attached on Marne. The sheep with the cross is the evocation of Saint Jean Baptiste, patron saint of the village. The mountain indicates the foothills of the place of Saâcy which led to its name since these foothills end with the Marne. It is of gold to represent the beaches of Saâcy which were an occasion of walk a long time. The river symbolizes the Marne and the two mallets, the masses of carriers employed in the careers of the village. The ornaments represent corn to honor agriculture and oak to point out many the wood of the commune. The crown of turns is the symbol fallen to the communes.
