the Round is a Amusement park of 591.000 m ² (146 acres) located on the island Sainte-Hélène, with Montreal.

The park is open mid- May to end October, the maximum activity being reached during the month of July. The Round includes/understands 40 horse-gears including 10 Russian Montagnes; most known Goliath , the vampire and are the monster. The International of fires Lotto-Quebec, called " formerly; World SAQ" and which bore also already the name of " International Benson & Hedges" , is held to with it during the months of June and July. One also finds the Mégadôme there Nintendo (on the site of the old aquarium of Montreal), which contains several video game consoles Nintendo free with the test (with entry-horse-gears).

The access to the parking is sometimes congested, but the island is accessible by the subway. It is allowed to bring its own food, but the rigid refrigerators and the containers out of glass are prohibited.

In spring 2006, the horse-gear high-speed motorboat was Goliath. They are the Russian mountains highest and fastest in Canada. This horse-gear rolls to 110 km/h and has an altitude of 53,3 Mr. It has also 1231 m of rails.

The name " Ronde" come owing to the fact that before Expo 67, the Co.-Helene island as it is known did not exist. Indeed, there were three islands at this place, the green island, the Co.-Helene island and the Ronde island. As the park was built on the Ronde island it consequently was named.

Six Flags

This park is managed by the company Six Flags since 2001. It is their only Canadian park. The park belonged to the town of Montreal before, and had been built for the Expo 67.

Before the advertisement of the purchase by Six Flags, Paramount Parks, Cedar Fairs and Park Astérix, of the companies which operate amusement parks, had offered all to buy the Round.
