Synopsis
In 1946, Marco takes good time and sails on the Lake Maggiore. At the time of a stopover it is made approach by Maitre Orimbelli who seems to be bored. This last invites it to dine at his place and introduces its irascible wife and her Mathilde sister-in-law to him, whose husband died in the war. Orimbelli insists that Marco remains to sleep in the most beautiful room of the villa: the room of the bishop. The following day, Marco, which must go to join Charlotte, a friend, finds Orimbelli which awaits it on its boat. This one, playing the compassion, forces the hand to him to benefit from the voyage. Marco yields. It will not be long in discovering that Orimbelli is ready has very to arrive at its ends with the women who pass to its carried.
