the Robert is a common French, located in the Antilles in Martinique. Its inhabitants is called Robertins.

It is located on the Atlantic coast of the island at 20 km of Fort-de-France. The Robert is the third city of Martinique after Fort de France and Lamentin. It currently counts 23.117 inhabitants.

Monuments and curiosities

the islets of the Robert are famous for the presence of an endemic species of Iguane S: the iguana of the Lesser Antilles ( Iguana delicatissima ).
