the Robber with the hundred faces ( 20 面相におねがい!! , nijūmensō nor onegai!! ) is a Manga Japan board of CLAMP. It comprises eleven chapters, gathered in two volumes.

Short summary of the history

Akira, young schoolboy of the Clamp school ten years old, lives with its two moms. It took the succession of his father as a robber. Under the name of “robber with hundred faces”, it flies with class, announcing always hour to which it will come to take the object which it covets, and always succeeds in fleeing with the nose and the beard of the police force.

One evening, to escape the police force, it takes refuge in the room of Utako, five years. This one has just seen its love for a broken professor much older, and sticks to Akira.

Characters

  • Akira Ijūin (伊集院玲): living with its two moms, he attends the Clamp school and is treasurer of the association of the pupils. Born a December 24th, it is very mature for its ten years, even if it believes still hard like iron in the Father Christmas. It took the succession of his father as “a robber with the hundred faces”.

  • Utako Ōkawa (大川歌心): at five years, she very badly saw her rejection by a professor much older. When Akira passes to it one evening, escaping the police force, it decides to fall in love with him. Its family is very rich.

  • Ryūsuke Kobayashi (小林龍祐): in first year of college, it is friendly with Akira since its removal. Wire of a merchant of Sushi, he aspires to becoming police officer and especially stopping the robber with the hundred faces.

  • two moms of Akira: of a very merry nature, it is in general with their request that Akira flies.

  • Shigetaka Akechi (明智茂貴): doctor of the school, it is very gifted to guess the feelings or the embarrassments of people, and always tells a little story adapted to the situation. It is actually the brother of the father of Akira.
