The Road Goes One
The Road Goes One is a song of the group of Rock Californien Toto, resulting from their ninth album studio Tambu left in 1995.
Description and interpretation
It is about one of the three ballades Pop rock'n'roll of the album, which is characterized by the play of a acoustic Guitare at the time of the verses, of the energetic fronts of Electric guitar at the time of the refrains. Steve Lukather, which interprets the piece, also plays of the Mandoline. The piece, which concludes the album, is dedicated to the late beater Jeff Porcaro, deceased three years earlier. The title The Road Goes One is in his memory: by an interpretation symbolic system, the group invites its fans “to continue the road together” in spite of the pain and to accompany it in its musical tour. It was thus for the group itself which continued without its founding member, deciding that it is what it would have wished.
Composition of the group in 1995
- Steve Lukather : guitars, song
- David Paich: keyboards, song
