The Rhine-Ruhr
The German area the Rhine-Ruhr one of largest the urban surfaces of the world, is considered at nearly 13 million inhabitants. It extends in broad a Conurbation since the area from the the Ruhr in north until Düsseldorf, Wuppertal and Cologne in the south. It forms integral part of the European Dorsale.
Geography
Because of the development of the Suburbs S, the city more in north of the Rhine-Ruhr area is Dülmen (to 20 km in the north of Essen), more in the east east Soest (to about thirty km in the east of Dortmund), more in the south east Bad Honnef (in the south of Bonn) and more in the west east Venlo (with the Netherlands, close to the border).
