The Prose of Trans-Siberian and small Jehanne de France

the Prose of Trans-Siberian and small Jehanne de France is a poem written by Blaise Cendrars (1887-1961) and Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979). Sonia Delaunay met Blaise Cendrars at Apollinaire in his apartment boulevard of Augustins in December 1912. They became friendly. Having appreciated the poem of Cendrars entitled the Prose of Trans-Siberian and small Jehanne de France , S. Delaunay decided to create a work answering the poem, and it is in the shape of a 2 m length accordion that it did it. It was printed with the stencil key set and was sold by subscription. This common work is with the meeting of two revolutionary artistic tendencies of the beginning of the 20th century: the orphism and the poetry of the new spirit.
