The Prodigy ( Wonder ) is a group of music electro happy Big British founded in 1990 by Liam Howlett.

Biography

In 1990, Liam Howlett is presented in the offices of XL Recordings with a band-demonstration containing ten titles which it had recorded in its room. This music rough and shingling draws its direct inspiration in the most muscular scene of the dance underground. Liam obtains a contract, four titles of the band-demonstration leave on the first individual one in February 1991. These beginnings are promising but the individual following will make rock The Prodigy in another reality. Charly returns the euphoria, energy, the direction of humor and the shared excitation of the great adventure underground. Prodigy incarnates the overflowing energy of the turnip culture. The album Experience is a business success and unfortunately, the underground rhyme not with financial success.

The third album, The Fat off the Land leaves the 30 June 1997, it is the euphoria. In 2000, Leeroy Thornhill, member of Prodigy since the beginnings, decides to leave the formation. It dedicates its career with its Flightcrank personal project which proposes a music between dub and hip hop. In 2000 one finds the title " smack my b*tch up" in the film " charlies angels" with Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore, we have also the title " mindfields" in " matrix" with Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss, and one finds the title Voodoo people in 2001 in the Wasabi film, with Jean Reno. It is in 2002 that Liam Howlett leaves a new title The Prodigy entitled Baby' S Got has Temper . Then he collaborates with Liam Gallagher of the Oasis group on individual supposed being reproduced on a new album of The Prodigy, Always outnumbered, never outgunned which appears finally in August 2004.

In September 2005, the group leaves Their Law: The Individual 1990-2005 , a disc best off of about thirty pieces taking again all the individual ones which made its success and including remixes and news.

Members

In addition to Liam Howlett and Leeroy Thornhill, The Prodigy is also composed of the vocalists Keith Flint, true emblem of the group with its many piercings and its punk hairstyle, and Maxim Reality, which will also launch out in solo, recording a duet with Skin of the group Skunk Anansie
