The Princess of Elides
the Princess of Elides is a gallant Comédie, interfered with music and entrée de ballet in five acts of Molière, represented for the first time at Versailles the May 8th 1664, and then given to the public on the Théâtre of the Palais Royal the November 9th 1664 by the troop of Mister, brother single of the King.
Summary
A prince wants to marry his daughter. He leaves it free of his choice. Beautiful, young person, tempting but insensitive, it is surrounded by several applicants. One of them, Euryale, with the idea to hide its love and to post in its connection an insensitivity similar to his. This coldness astonishes the princess then interests it. She likes it.
