The Port of the desire

the Port of the desire is a film carried out in 1954 by Edmond T. Gréville.

Synopsis

The captain Quévic is charged by the maritime authorities with Marseilles with reinflating the wreck of " Vénus" who is likely to block the entry of the channel. Filled of apprehension, the owner of the ship, Mr. Black, smuggler and assassin, try to prevent at all costs the reinflation, the corpse of an young girl being on board. He bribes the diver Michel, fellow-member of Quévic, but the young man refuses to be the accomplice of a murder. The police force alerted by Quévic which discovered to it sinister cargo, tracking Mr. Black and its band which had sequestered Michel and his Martine friend, sister of the assassinated young girl. The stopped gangsters, Quévic him so in love with Martine is erased in front of the youth of in love and takes again the sea.
