the Polygraph is a Film of Robert Lepage produces in 1997. The film is the adaptation to the cinema of its play.

Synopsis

The action proceeds with Quebec. Lucie Champagne plays the part of the victim during the turning of a film based on the real history of a unsolved murder. Coincidence, the neighbor of Lucie was the friend of heart of the victim: Marie-Claire. In the investigation which continues, it continues to be suspect. Itself comes from there to doubt its own innocence in spite of the alibi provided by Claude, a preceding friend of heart. While the test of the polygraph is invalid for François and that it waits for a second test, the film is to be concluded with its own version on the identity from the murderer from Marie-Claire.
