The Plans (Herault)

the Plans is a common French, located in the department of the Herault and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called the " Planois" or " Planols".

The Plans is one of the only communes of France not to have War memorial the. Indeed, all the men of the commune having taken part in the wars of 1870,1914-18 and 1939-45 returned alive from there. A local legend allots this exceptional situation to the protection of the inhabitants by the Saint Saver, to whom is dedicated a vault built at the time of Saint Fulcran (bishop of Lodève at the 10th century) on the territory of the commune, in the mountain.
