Comments
One can notice the presence of the actor Sam Anderson in a minor role. This one will play later in Lost whose scenario takes as a starting point the novel the Plague .Stephen King, the écrivan of the original novel and the scenario of this telefilm, also makes several appearances, in a minor role.
Differences between the novel and the telefilm
The scenario contains several differences compared to the original novel. For example, several characters of the novel are brought together in that of Nadine in the telefilm. Its end is also much faster in the telefilm. Other characters are completely unobtrusive intrigue. However the telefilm takes again a dramatic structure very near of the novel. We discover the birth of the plague , its propagation, then the isolated survivors, their dreams which lead them to meet in two poles and finally their confrontation.
