The Peoples off Middle-earth
The Peoples off Middle-earth (People of the Earth of the Medium) is it twelfth volume of the series of the Histoire of the Earth of the Medium. Published by Christopher Tolkien in 1996, it was not translated yet into French in 2007. It includes/understands four parts:

the first recalls the development of the prolog and the appendices of the Seigneur of the Rings , where one finds in particular the family trees of the families hobbites Bolger and Bophin (reproduced since in the edition of the fiftieth anniversary of the Seigneur of the Rings ).
- the second present one of the late writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, dating from the end of the year 1960 or the beginning of the year 1970, on which Christopher was based much to publish, in 1977, the Silmarillion .
- the third part is composed of two texts which are “lesson” ( teachings ) of wise the Noldo Pengolodh with the Ælfwine sailor.
- Lastly, in the fourth and last part, one finds texts narrative unfinished: The New Shadow , an outline of some pages being held one century or two after the War of the Ring, and Tal-Elmar , a text presenting colonization númenóréenne of the Ground of the Medium from the point of view of the autochtones.
Christopher Tolkien puts a final point at the series of the History of the Earth of the Medium with this volume. Since then, of the new texts of J.R.R. Tolkien continue to be published, but by fanzines like Vinyar Tengwar or Parma Eldalamberon.
