the Passion of the Jew ( The Passion off the Jew in original version) is the fourth episode of the eighth season of the animated series South Park .

Synopsis

Cartman convinces Kyle to go to see the Passion of Christ . This film shocks so much Kyle which it calls its Foi in question. Stan and Kenny as for them finds film so no one that they want to be made refund.

Comment

This episode parodies the Controverse around the Passion of Christ . Several reactions are entrechoquent:

Kyle is cut down by film so much so that he wants that the Juifs are sorry Jesus. Reaction which thus takes film with the first degree, in its direction strictly religious.
Stan and Kenny represents those which found film “null”, taken in its cinematographic direction (second degree). This reaction corresponds to that of Parker and Stone.
Cartman represents that which, following the vision of film, regarded the Juifs as people Déicide.

In addition, in its Moral, Stan declares that it is not how Jesus died who is important but his precepts.
