The Park At MOA

The Park At MOA (known under the name of Knott' S Camp Snoopy , which will become soon Nickelodeon Universe in 2008) is a Amusement park located in the shopping mall Mall off America (MOA) at Bloomington, in the Minnesota.

History

Built by Knott' S Berry Farm and directed by Cedar Fair after the purchase of Knott' S in 1998. The park is now directed by Mall off America since 2005.

Snoopy camp

The familiar character of Snoopy was the Mascotte park at these beginnings, whereas the park of called Knotts Camp Snoopy and later, more simply Camp Snoopy . The character creates by Charles Mr. Schulz in his cartoon " The Peanuts " was present in manner moderate. When the park lost the frankness from this character, the thematisation undergoes some changes to adapt. In October 2005, the logo changes and the black and white dog starts to disappear in the park.

The Park At MOA

January 9th, 2006, Mall off America announces that collaboration with Cedar Fair Entertainment (Which has the rights of Peanuts) is definitively finished. The park is then temporarily famous Park At MOA while waiting for a new collaboration. The last ones traces of Snoopy and of its band were removed.

Nickelodeon Universe

Announced by the Star Platform, on March 1st, 2007, Park At MOA was in negotiation with Nickelodeon for a partnership bringing to integrate characters of the group in the thematisation of the park. New attractions were announced like SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, a Russian Montagne of Gerstlauer, a new spectacle Bob the sponge ansi that other horse-gears. The new name Nickelodeon Universe was announced on July 25th, 2007, one month later began constructions and other modifications in the park (80 to 90% of the park will be altered). The park should be again completely operational as from March 2008.
