Parisian the (first shutter of the trilogy Mankind ), is a film carried out by Claude Lelouch, left on the screens the September 15th 2004.

Synopsis

A string of characters, often marginal, but dreaming all to be on the same level of what one could call “the scale in love with Richter” cross and compose a inventory in Prévert. Among them, a couple of singers in love one with the other, Shaa and Massimo, which guides us in run of this history.

  • Claude Lelouch financed itself the production of its film by involving in debt its company, Films 13, to a total value of 10 M€. The bet is very risky and can lead to its personal ruin.
  • the day of its exit into the room, the film added up only 4.162 entries what represents a bitter failure. Upset this reception which it charged to a bad criticism, Claude Lelouch called some with the public by offering the admission free in the rooms of the Paris region on September 17th, 2004 to the meeting of 19:00. But at the end of one week, Parisian the added up always only 130.649 entries.
  • the film is dedicated to Ticky Holgado deceased in January 2004.
