The Night of the zapping
the Night of the zapping was a spectacle organized each year by the association Solidarité AIDS on the concept of the television program Zapping (a digest of the best moments of Télévision), and whose profits made it possible to help the people touched by the virus of the AIDS, for half in France and half abroad.
Diffused in front of a public on a giant screen, it consisted of large a zapping several hours, intersected with documentary S devoted to the prevention and the sensitizing of the public to the AIDS, and in particular to the worrying situation in the country in the process of development (access to the care, trackings and prospects worrying for the number of current and future Orphelin S of the AIDS).
It was about the first great event general public organized by Solidarité AIDS. Launched in 1996, it made each year the round of more than one hundred of French cities, overseas included/understood. After having gathered more: 390000 spectators, the event drew its reverence on September 23rd, 2006 with the general sports Palais from Paris-Bercy.
