The News
the News is small a Village High of the island of the Réunion constituting most important of the islet S of the circus of Mafate, in the center of this one.
This hamlet is located on the communal territory of the Possession. Inaccessible by the road, it can be reached with foot via a Sentier of great excursion which crosses the downtown area of Cilaos then climbs until the Col of Taïbit and passes by the islet of Marla. The principal access remains nevertheless the path which goes down since the Col from the Oxen and thus makes it possible to reach the circus of Salazie.
