The Myth of the twentieth century

the Myth of the twentieth century (translation of the German Der Mythus of the zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts ) is a book written by Alfred Rosenberg, one of the principal ideologists of the Nazi party and editor of the review Nazi Völkischer Beobachter . It is the text having had the greatest influence on the Nazism with Mein Kampf of Hitler.

According to Viereck, “the " mythe" is that of the blood, which under the sign of the Svastika will unchain the racial revolution on a world scale. It is the alarm clock of the heart of the race which, after a long sleep will take the top on the chaos of the races. ” ( the myth off blood, which under the sign off the swatiska unchains the racial world-revolution. It is the awakening off the race drunk person, which after long sleep victoriously ends the race chaos ).

The racial interpretation of the History according to Rosenberg is centered on the presumedly negative influence of the “Jewish race”, in opposition with the “Aryan race”.
