the Mystery of the Cathedrals is a book published in 1926 under the pseudonym of Fulcanelli and republished for the last time in 2002 at Jean-Jacques Pauvert.
Description
This work took, with the philosopher residences which will follow it, an major importance in the history of the Alchimie. He claims to pose another glance on the Gothic art French, while being interested in interpretation of the Symbolique according to him undoubtedly left by the alchemists in the stone. Fulcanelli is interested here in particular in the cathedral of Paris, with the Cathédrale of Amiens, and with Bourges leans on the Hôtel Lallemant, built as for him towards 1500.
