Postal mark
In Philately, a Obliteration “the Mule which street” is known in the west of the United States at the end of the 19th century. The manufacturer California N of plugs and seals, Klinker, accepted the ordering of a postmark. He represented the mule which street.
This seal was used for Port Towsend, Neah Bay, Forbestown, Goleta and Susanville, small boroughs of the States of California and Washington.
The obliterations gone back to 1880 to 1886 are rare, because of the smallness of the cities where the seal was used. However, they are more current of 1890 to 1900, when the new postmaster of Townsend, Francis Learned decides to answer at the requests of collectors. Contrary to his predecessor, his father, it carried out a great number of obliterations of kindness.
