The Movies

The Movies is a play of management created by Lionhead Studios for Microsoft Windows. It left the November 8th 2005 to the the United States, and the November 11th to Europe; after being last in version Gold the October 8th 2005. The play envisaged initially to be carried on PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox, was officially cancelled the February 7th 2006, the weak success which the play met on PC is the called upon reason.

Characteristics

In The Movies , the player takes the role of a nabob of Hollywood film, directing a studio and creating films. Many functions were carried out on the aspect realization, which makes it possible to the players easily to create visual work or Machinima S. In this strategy game, all the ingredients, whose cinema faded it is impassioned, are joined together: creation of films, direction of an Hollywood studio, post-productions, marketing, and many other activities in connection with the industry of seventh Article.

The project of The Movies on game console was taken again following the repurchase of the rights by Microsoft.
