The Monster of the Caspian one

Monstre of Caspian the is the nickname allotted by the Westerners to a Soviet ékranoplane appeared at the end of the Années 1960.

History

This plane, built in 1966, made continuation the construction of various prototypes. Model km ( каспийскиймонстр ) called Monstre of Caspian the makes 100 meters length for 550 tons. Its 10 engines make it fly to 3 meters above water, but it cannot fly higher, apart from the Ground effect. It can face waves of 5 meters without any problem. It will be used as laboratory flying for the scientists until in 1980. These are the constraints of flight which are at the origin of its disappearance.
