The mountain of the Mole to the shape of an almost perfect cone: 7 km in length for 5 km in width, with an altitude of 1.863 Mr. C' are a small mountain for Haute-Savoie, but it has a great geographical importance: it separates the Vallée from Arve, in the south and the west, of the Vallée of Giffre, in north and south-east, and orders the southern entry of the basin Genevois. Its specific form constitutes an excellent natural reference mark for the mountain dwellers and the travellers on tens of kilometers around.

The excursion at the top (4 hours of walk A/R, 12 km and 663 meters of uneven) allows without too much difficulty (it is traditional family) of discovering a superb panorama with 360° on all the surrounding landscapes (the Jura, Lac Léman, Massif of Mont Blanc, Chaîne of Bargy and Salève)
