The Mersey

The the Mersey is a Fleuve the North-West of the England. Its name comes from the Anglo-Saxon “Mǽres-ēa” (river border) because this river delimits the borders of the counties Cheshire and Lancashire. The Mersey crosses the town of Liverpool and gave its name to Merseybeat, a musical current of the Années 1960 very marked by the identity of Liverpool.
