The Mary-on-Marne
the Mary-on-Marne is a common French, located in the department of Seine-et-Marne and the area Île-de-France.

Geography
Mary on Marne is located at the north of Seine-et-Marne, on the point of the department. The village is to approximately 10 km departments of Oise and Aisne. With 15 km of Meaux and close to Lizy-on-Ourcq, it is skirted by the Marne.
History

- Guy Delorme, movie actor, was born in Mary.
- Joseph Kessel, the writer lived in this village and its name was given to the elementary school.

The Saint-Germain church goes back to the 16th century.

Events
The village at the end of May accommodates the open ones for a local fair with procession with the torch. An orchestra comes to play free at the time of the festival of the music. A meal is organized on the place of the church, follow-up of a ball on July 13rd. The village organizes a market of Christmas every year and proposes to the exhibitors free sites.
