The Martineau Brothers
the Brothers Martineau (Patrice and Roger) are two Vendean brothers who write, compose and interpret their songs since 1985.

1950-1979
1953: Birth of Patrice
1958: Birth of Roger
1967-1978: First guitar, first songs, first groups and first scenes.
1979: Their life rocks: at the same time and for different reasons, Patrice and Roger return to the catholic faith. They decide to stop the song to be devoted to their family, while continuing to write songs for the pleasure.
1980-1989
1984: Their songs start to find an echo in their entourage
1985: to satisfy the requests, starting from recreated medieval works they record one 1st Cantigas disc with rudimentary means having for unexpected consequence the second immediate pulling and requests for concerts.
1986: increasingly frequent Concerts and more and more far. Meet with Daniel Facérias who encourages them to take the step of professionalism.
1987: Roger leaves his factory of shoes and Patrice sells his shoe manufacture to become professional singers. They re-record in studio their Cantigas disc prefaced by Régine Pernoud.
1988: Inconnus of the general public they receive an enthusiastic reception by the 10.000 young present at the Congress Apostles of year 2000 in March in Versailles. Exit of the 2nd disc Wandering entertainers of Notre Dame. Participation in the Festivals Magnificat of Paray Monial and Notre Dame and Sea in Marseilles. First TV on Antenna 2 at the Sunday.
1989: First Parisian concerts. Exit of K7 Compostelle 89 intended to accompany young French with the JMJ by Compostelle. Many concerts of which several on the way. Unforgettable concert in front of 12000 people with Leon. Festival of France with Fontevraud.
1990-1999
1990: Left CD New Times to the Editions Axel Christmas Music. Festival of Aubazine.
1991: Turned with Reunion, Belgium and Poland within the framework of the JMJ of Czestochowa. Round with the Foundation Raoul Follereau.
1992: Left the disc the Song of the Vendée to the Editions of the Small Vehicle. Exit of the collection of autobiographical poetries Poems of Roger Martineau.
1993: Francofolies within the framework of Unexpected with Fabienne Thibault and Golden Spoils Four-bit byte. Exit of CD Family lives to the Editions Eden Production.
1994: Price of the Family for the disc Family lives. World day of the Family in Rome. World day for the Life in Trocadéro.
1995: Turned to Lebanon and Switzerland. Festival of St Cloud. Exit of CD France, Ground of promises to the Editions Eden Production, the collection Legends mariales by Patrice with the Mediaspaul Editions and of the collection of poetry Sanctuary by Roger.
1996: Theater Grévin (Paris). Animation of the reception of Jean-Paul II with Turns on September 21st. Patrice creates the group of medieval songs STELLA HUSBANDS (re-creation of medieval songs) with the exit of CD Songs for Notre Dame with the Editions Eden production.
1997: Theater Grévin (Paris). Congress of International of the Follereau Foundation. 2nd round in Lebanon. Many concerts within the framework of the JMJ (Paris and province). Patrice and Stella Maris present the Portraits spectacle of Troubadours in round and with the Ste Chapelle (Paris)
1998: Left CD To like or Disappear with the editions Jade-BMG. Festival St Jean.
1999: Left CD the Call of St Jacques with for reciting Robert Hossein with the Editions Jade-BMG. Concert with the BATACLAN (Paris).
2000-2006
2000: National Gathering of the Families in Puy in Velay. Left CD of Patrice in solo has Marie, the Song of the Poets and rounds in solo. Roger publishes his collection of scenic poetries While waiting for His return. The 4th 3-act play of Roger Salome or transfigured waiting is presented to Nantes.
2001: Creation of the Marie-madeleine Musical comedy,… because she liked much, put in scene by Michael Lonsdale with Nicole Rieu. Exit of CD solo of Roger While waiting for His return. Rounds in solo.
2002: Sortie CD the Dream is never too large on texts and in homage to Raoul Follereau followed by a national round with the Foundation. Festival of Easter (Chartres).
2003: Turned to Poland (Zielonka, Warsaw, Bil Goraj, Lodz…). Festival of Easter (Chartres).
2004: Recording of the song Bog mnie kocha with the Polish group Arka Noego. Musical production Report of Blood with Jean Piat. Creation and round of the musical Mystery Towards Compostelle. Round in Poland.
2005: Sortie CD Does not touch with my life. Animations within the framework of the Jubilee of Puy in Velay. Beginning of the 20 years Round of Songs.
